相傳舜帝南巡時徐經新寧，見地方山水特別奇秀、美麗，不由搖頭贊曰：“此山良好，可謂崀山�！睄~山由此得名。
崀山風景名勝區位于湘桂邊境的新寧縣境內，南與桂林山水相連，北同武陵源風光呼應，距桂林、邵東機場各140公里，水陸交通便利，是近年來新發現的又一顆風景明珠。數百萬年前，崀山是一片內陸湖。由于地殼變動，內陸湖底突起，形成了紅色沙粒巖結構的峰巒——丹霞地貌。景區占地108平方公里，轄紫霞仙境，駱駝群峰，八角勝景，半山奇觀，夷江秀色五大景區，18個風景小區，已發現和命名的477個景點。
紫霞峒
紫霞峒景區包括萬景槽，玉泉山，象鼻石、烏云寨、劉華軒墓等景點，主要以幽為主。在我們左側的一是玉泉山，面積0。5平方公里，山頂高程301米，密集7個景點。山上有一古寺，稱玉泉寺，始建于康熙42年（17XX年）。舊庵毀于水，雍正年間（1723年）重修，清人傅向高、馬羅藩、李延年均為之作記。今存鎮墓塔和碑記及玉泉寺始祖第一代禪師古墓，幾經修復香火旺盛，為天下七十佛教勝地。
迎面而來的這座大石山，活像一個高高蹺起的大拇指。當地人稱為“拇指石”，也叫“ok”石，它風雨無阻的屹立于此，似是對遠道而來的朋友表示歡迎，以似對崀山的山水表示贊嘆，或許兩者都有。
現在我們來到紫霞峒的正進口，紫霞峒并沒有洞，峒者沖也，它是少數民族村、寨的意思。在紫霞峒有許多只能在云南才能生長的植物品種和熱帶雨林景觀�？筛惺艿健笆栌皺M斜水清淺，暗香浮動月黃昏”的意思。這里不僅能激起詩人的靈感，還是佛教和道教的必爭之地。佛學宗師慧遠和道學宗師陸修靜，曾先后來此弘揚他們的教義。所以整座山以游路為界，左為道教之地，還可見紫霞道人的自然石像。前面一石凌空突出，活象一只碩大無比的青蛙正蹲在那里，這就是青蛙石。
沿著石階往上走，我們來到了紫霞宮，紫霞宮自明代嘉靖年間修建以來。香火不斷，暮鼓晨鐘，梵聲繚繞，成為名聞遐邇的洞天福地。宮內有一座湖南省內最為高大的觀音菩薩，高達6米，最獨特的還是觀音菩薩手中的玉凈瓶，所有的瓶子都是豎立的，而這個觀音菩薩的玉凈瓶是傾斜的，意在把甘露盡情灑向人間。
左側有一塊長700余米，高100米赤紅色的銅墻鐵壁稱紅瓦山，就是紫霞道人放置袈裟的地方，是一處絕紗的回音壁。
駱駝峰
過崀山街往右走，便見一典雅雄偉的牌樓，上有原湖南省省長，原省政協主席劉正同志親手題寫的“崀山天然公園”六個大字。駱駝峰景區距縣城14公里，從崀山老街到石田，沿途奇峰異石拔地而起，一條溪水奔突穿石，如琴似瑟。主要景點有“遇仙橋”、“十八羅漢”、“燕子寨”、“斗笠寨”、“蠟燭峰”、“駱駝峰”、“幽魂谷”等。首先映入眼簾的是右側的仙人橋，此橋建于清乾年間，石砌單拱，長6。8米，寬5。1米，拱方9米麻石砌成，橋身玲瓏精致，青藤攀附，1983年電視《風雨瀟湘》曾在此拍攝外景。
前行右側十八石峰如“十八羅漢”一字列成威武雄壯的歡迎游客光臨的“儀仗隊”，在最右側有情深義生的“夫妻石”，丈夫準備遠行正和妻子依依惜別。
轉過彎，前面豁然開朗。一片農田、幾幢農舍、挺拔的蠟燭峰，栩栩如生的駱駝峰，這是駱駝峰景區的中心所在，也是整個崀山最早開發的地方。93年揭開崀山旅游開發的序幕的“三月三”崀山旅游節是在這舉行的。
岔路口往左就是林家寨一線天，這是開發最早的一個景點，高525米，寨下東北走向的一線天為石山裂縫而成，長60米，高40米，還有一個特點是既可望又可及，此一線天可手腳并用，沿人工開鑿的石級攀絕壁登至極頂，飽覽駱駝峰。還有“情人谷”，“千佛頂”，“蟾蜍望月”、“幽魂谷”、“舍身崖”，都能給留下難忘的印象。
被譽為“南天一柱”的蠟燭峰，高674米，崖身218米，周長400米，遠處陡崖下面山平如燭臺，石峰呈現圓柱形，通體鮮紅，似一點燃的紅蠟燭。在蠟燭峰東南陡崖下的一條巨大縫隙，長100米，深50米，寬0。4—1。8米，上下巖石如刀削一樣平整，形似一條巨龍向東方直射隙底，開成龍口吞珠，五光十色的壯觀景象，稱為“龍口朝陽”，龍口深處棲息著很多世巨形蝙蝠，一經驚動似箭一樣飛出，陡增一種神秘的感覺。游人要想上山，必須手足并用匍匐攀登，呈“之”字形循序漸進，這叫“不怕不低頭”。
爬出龍口，就可以看到從上而下一平如鑿猶如鬼斧神工的“無字天碑”。許多人都想登上這陡峭的石壁，都不能如愿，只有一位勇敢的采花老人征服過塊石碑，憑著膽略和智慧登上碑頂，但他也未能在碑上刻上一個字。
沿著石壁小徑，可至一平臺，抬頭一看，有如來到華山西峰，只見兩側懸崖陡壁，中間一石鑿的九十九級臺階是極頂的唯一通道，這是明末清初“紅花會”首領楊發奎反清復明遭清庭通緝，憑上乘武力鑿就的石階，十分險峻。
觀完義俠祠，游人可沿茂密的小樹林走到駱駝尾部，一個天然的觀景臺，可賞奇峰異石，深山幽谷，使人心曠神怡，豁然開朗。
牛鼻山
為什么叫牛鼻山？牛鼻寨，山上有兩個孔，活像牛鼻孔，故叫牛鼻山。首先請慢慢往前走，來到了迎賓亭，迎面而來的是一幅天然水畫“銀珠巖”，水珠似一顆顆閃亮的珍珠自上而下。
幾經曲折，大家來到了陡巖腳下，迎面紅霞赤壁如鐵壁銅墻鐵墻向人們壓來，使人不禁心驚跳，懸崖上有一白色“天橋”，我們經過“天橋”便可來到“天下第一巷”，這是丹霞地貌創始人，著名地質學家、中醫院院士陳國達1992年10月親筆命名。沿石級小徑而上僅能容一人側身通過，兩面石壁如刀壁斧削，全長238。8米，最寬處0。8米，最窄處0。33米，平均寬0。5米，巷道筆直，上下成弧形，真是“一夫當關，萬夫莫開”，堪稱天下一絕。
走出巷不遠，橫跨一清泉，此泉能使人心曠神怡，如果月夜巡游，就會出現“明月松間照，清泉石上流”的意境。前行不到200米，便來到三叉路口，左邊是一天然崖洞，寬敞平整，是一個天然觀景臺。
登上“遇仙巷”，沿右面巖壁攀藤過巷，進入了一個幽靜世界，花木叢生，小徑穿上一道“穿巖”，人在其中，繞有情趣。右邊則有“馬蹄巷”、“翠竹巷”，兩邊翠竹掩映，給人一種輕松的感覺。
繼續往前行便來到了一馬鞍形石級小梯——攬月梯，最窄處只有26公分。走到谷底可以看到景外景的一隘口上有一個陰陽八卦陣。此時，前邊的路縱橫交錯，若無人指引，很可能迷失方向。在猿人頭的下前方，大家能清楚地看到一棟七層大廈，謂之“七層樓”。沿著數百級臺階便可進入桃源沖，你看這途中有一天然盆景“長壽樹”。桃源沖，長滿了翠竹，可以在此小憩。
底下有一個飛來石上“望月亭”，站在亭上，大家可以隨視線一直往前看，正山中有一天然單拱石橋，也是“亞洲第二橋”，跨度45米，高20米，厚5米。如白練分系兩頭，分外美麗。
八角寨位于湖廣交界，海拔818米，從遠眺寨頂飛出八個犄角而得名。沿途要過三道門：第一道角門;第二道龍門;第三道便是寨門。走完1708個臺階便來到了一個平臺，站在這個地方，雙腳步可以分跳兩個省。繼續向前，便來到湘西南名剎——“云臺寺”。八角寨的最佳去處在“龍頭香”，站在“龍頭香”上既可眺遠處的“駱駝峰”、“書生流淚”、“駱駝接吻”尼姑庵，又可近觀“仙人下棋”、“鯉魚躍龍門”、“哪咤抽龍筋”。這就是世界奇觀——天然油畫“鯨魚鬧�！�，生機勃勃令人回味。
扶夷江
美麗的扶夷江碧綠澄清，碧波蕩漾，兩岸奇峰異石似一根錦帶自南向北貫穿全景，它發源于湖南湘、資、源、澧四大水源的資江上游，廣西資源縣的苗兒山。有人問，為什么叫扶夷呢？因為新寧古稱扶夷候國，早在西漢扶夷候大規模開發古越地時，崀山便隨著南連北截止，北起中原的要塞，到漢王莽改制后，更名為扶夷縣，到宋綠紹興二十五年才更名為新寧縣，新寧縣的58萬人口就是喝這口寶水成長的。

崀山是系列提名地中南嶺山脈中唯一提名地，是亞熱帶東部濕潤區常綠闊林的精華所在地，起源古老的生物類群和珍稀瀕危物種最為集中，植被的“生態孤島”現象和生境狹窄特有現象最為突出，是丹霞植物群落演替系列階段最為完整的地區，是記錄被子植物基部類群與動物（昆蟲）發生協同進化（廣義）關系的特殊生境區。是丹霞生物多樣性綜合研究的極好模式和試驗地。

Through the Yinzhu cave, you come to the precipice of the steep rock.Facing the red cliff, you can see that there is no way to the four cliffs. Youcan only see a white ladder standing up on the cliff to reach "the first lane inthe world".
Professor Chen Guoda, a famous geologist and academician of the ChineseAcademy of Sciences, and the father of Danxia Landform in China, wrote thesewords in his own handwriting when he came to Langshan in 1992. Bajiaozhai
Bajiaozhai scenic spot is located at the southernmost end of LangshanMountain on the border of Hunan and Guangxi, with an altitude of 818 meters. Itis composed of bajiaozhai, baimianzhai and Tianshengqiao. It is named after theeight peaks on the top of the mountain, which are connected with each other ashorns, like an octagonal lotus.
"Tianshengqiao", known as "the first bridge in Asia", is a unique naturallandscape in Danxia landform. The bridge is 64M long, 14m wide, 20m high and 5mthick. The whole bridge is semi-circular arch, like artificial masonry,magnificent, amazing. There is a sarcophagus under the bridge, the bottom coveris separated, lifelike, especially like a thousand year old antique. A smallstream flows around the bridge. The water is clear and blue, so it has thereputation of "green stream".
"Baimianzhai" is named for its silver gray rocks, white flowers and whitewaves. The mountain of the village is strong and dangerous. The stone gate ofthe village stands close to the gate. Only one person can get in and out of thevillage. It's really "one man is in charge of the gate, and ten thousand peoplecan't open it.". Huge stones stand up in the village, and there are thousands ofscenes. This is not only the ancient castle of Yang Zaixing, Shi Dakai, Leizaihao, Li Shide and other famous generals and uprising leaders, but also thesite of the Neolithic period.

Facing us is a simple and elegant archway "Langshan natural park". Enterthe scenic area, along the way there is a small bridge water, the front right isYuxian bridge. 各位朋友，你們好!很高興能和大家一起共游美好的崀山。相傳舜帝南巡時徐經新寧，見地方山水特別奇秀、美麗，不由搖頭贊曰：“此山良好，可謂崀山。”崀山由此得名。崀山風景名勝區位于湘桂邊境的新寧縣境內，南與桂林山水相連，北同武陵源風光呼應，距桂林、邵東機場各140公里，水陸交通便利，是近年來新發現的又一顆風景明珠。數百萬年前，崀山是一片內陸湖。由于地殼變動，內陸湖底突起，形成了紅色沙粒巖結構的峰巒--丹霞地貌。景區占地108平方公里，轄紫霞仙境，駱駝群峰，八角勝景，半山奇觀，夷江秀色五大景區，18個風景小區，已發現和命名的477個景點。紫霞峒紫霞峒景區包括萬景槽，玉泉山，象鼻石、烏云寨、劉華軒墓等景點，主要以幽為主。
